This goes to one inbox and one person reads it. It is not a quote request, nobody gets dispatched to your house, and no contractor is called. You have time — termite damage is measured in years, not weeks.

Before you type anything

If you have an insect, a wing, or a pile of pellets in front of you: put it in a ziplock bag and photograph it on something white next to a coin for scale. That takes 2 minutes and it is the single most useful thing you can do, whether you write to me or call somebody licensed.

What I can tell you

Which termite group the thing you're describing points to, and how confident that is. What a line on a WDI report means. What a treatment normally costs and what drives the range. Which questions to ask a contractor before you sign, and which parts of a quote are worth pushing back on.

What I can't

I can't tell you what's happening in your house. Not from a photo, not from a description, not from a video. Nobody can, including people who are licensed to inspect. I'm not a licensed pest control operator, so I can't inspect, can't recommend a treatment for your address, and can't sign anything for a transaction.

Where the honest answer is "you need somebody standing in your crawlspace", I'll say that, and I'll say it in the first line rather than the last.

How long I take

I read everything and reply to what I can, usually inside a week. There's no autoresponder and no drip sequence. If a closing date is driving this, put that at the top of the message and I'll move it up the pile.
